trudging to school in the snow....
((somewhere between this picture and the next, i slipped and fell down in the snow. there are no photos, because someone was busy laughing...))
post-fall:
getting back up from falling in the snow....
brushing off the snow... cue music - aaliyah; get yourself back up and try again try againnnn~
i am not particularly happy about the snow.
(but i must say, i'm getting my full money's worth out of these heavy duty hunter boots!)
i know that we all have to go through the same ordeal and i'm not the only one. i know, i'm a big baby about the weather.
but this post is to prove to my future children how hard mommy's life was, walking to school in the snow. but of course, the story by then will have evolved from a 5 minute walk to a 5 mile walk. and that it was uphill, and no paved roads. and it snowed 365 days a year. and i STILL got straight As. (false). this is modeled after my dad's story who used to break branches from trees and tie them to his shoes and ski to school. this one is actually probably true given my dad's farm country Korea background. but it is effective in making me feel like a lazy piece of poo, which is why i must have a story of my own-just in case.
or maybe i can send this to my dad, so he can see how hard my life is right now and be proud of me.
but i won't lie. our school looks good in winterwear.
that last pic does not look good. you and nick both put up depressing pics of winter and have everyone else think we're surrounded by beauty.
ReplyDeletehahaha. 1eprop for pics of you. 1eprop discount due to the last pic.
No worries! I slip in the snow more often than I'd like to admit...
