the first signs of life in michigan! this was taken right after we returned from break (beginning of march) and indeed it was exciting to see that spring is on it's way! please come faster....

this is my first attempt at a tomato & egg & green onion dish. nick read me some measurements, and i accidentally dropped in 1 TBSP of salt instead of 1 TSP of salt. the entire dish was ruined, and i burst into tears(!!!) when i realized this. this was the most random thing for me to do, and i'm not sure why it happened. law school has made me crazy indeed.

the pogue panel. basically all i got out of this lunch was 1. a zingermans sammie and 2. the legal world is entirely run by old white (Jewish) men.

the zingerman's sammie - i photographed it so i can remember the ingredients/name bc i thoroughly enjoyed it (surprisingly! i didnt know i could like vegan anything). i took a picture of the sammie itself, but it didn't come out appetizing.

my baby boy getting a bath after it's long journey from california to michigan. read: bugs-be-gone!!!

i wore my chucks sneakers today. i don't wear sneakers often, but whenever i do, i wear these bc 1. they are my favorite and 2. bc they are my only pair of sneakers. i bought these during my first week of college in san diego; i feel like i'm 18 again when i look down and see my chucks (especially now that i have reverted back to wearing a jansport backpack again). oh.... if these soles could talk...

haifa falafel - tastiest little falafel balls in AA! and super cheap, only $2/dozen? wth? totally recommended. (yelp recommends it too). thank goodness for judith and her good food searching ways.

nick chang trying to impress me via gchat. notice - i am studying in the reading room; distraction alert! :)

nick chang comparing bellies with john rhoades on st. patties day.
i also wanted to blog about the new dimsum place asia city on washtenaw; decent enough to satisfy a dimsum craving (but their pork buns and turnip cakes were major let downs) no photos bc i was too hungry.

i wonder... how does haagen dasz make coffee icecream SO TASTY?!! from only 5 ingredients too. cream, milk, eggs, sugar, and coffee. HOW DO THEY DO IT?! we discovered that whole foods sells LARGE 7-serving TUBS of haagen-dasz coffee ice cream. dangerous, but so delightful.
Obama looks nice in his baby blue tie.
its okay to cry over food! sometimes, life is just stressful. and when something totally in control doesnt work out, you just need an emotional release!
