I have a strange obsession with things extreme. This obsessions is usually manifested by my love for any and all things extremely cute, a typical trait of being a little Asian girl (I am ok with being typical). But I have always been intrigued by all ends of extremes in various forms. Except when it comes to weather. I can't get over these photos I came across on my daily blog run during Legal Practice. They are extreme. Extremely ugly. I really love them.
P.S. I am going to put in an extreme effort to properly capitalize the beginning of my sentences. When I entered the world of AIM and Xanga, I was a naive (read: stupid) pre-teen who thought lowercase everything was the cutest way to portray myself on the interwebz. And then I convinced myself that proper punctuation and capitalization was for pretentious and self-important people. Now I'm 23, and can't type this damn sentence without having to re-type "now i'm" (unless I'm in Word, woo auto-correct!). The obnoxious habit has stuck like superglue residue that needs to be picked off (cite: post below).
These pictures reminded me of Toulouse Lautrec's "At the Moulin Rouge": http://emsworth.files.wordpress.com/2008/09/toulouse-lautrec-at-the-moulin-rouge.jpg
ReplyDeleteSince you like extremely ugly things than you must dislike me.
Hahha, Jan 5th of the this year was when decided to use proper punctuation and capitalization on my blog... It takes so much less time!
ReplyDeletehaha, i totes agree. (totes = totally....oh no, cutesy)....we're now too sophisticated to be cute. But I still have a hard time restraining my cuteness.
ReplyDeletetotes mcgotes!
ReplyDeletesometimes, cuteness can't be restrained when it's au naturale-which of course it is w all of us ;)
